Trusts are legal arrangements that allow individuals to transfer control of their assets in order to provide for the beneficiaries. I assist clients in drafting a wide range of trusts, including revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, pooled trusts and testamentary trusts. Pooled trusts allow individuals to remain eligible for Medicaid benefits while still having assets in the trust to pay for services that Medicaid does not pay.

• Powers of attorney (health care): At my law office, I can draft an advance health care directive on your behalf that designates a loved one to make decisions pertaining to your medical care in the event you are unable to do so yourself. These documents allow you to make sure your wishes are carried out if (not of) of you become disabled.
• Powers of attorney (property and finances): In the event you become disabled, this document can allow you to transfer your financial decision-making powers to a trusted individual.
